Haidar, a young pro-independence Mahorais in his forties, is worried about seeing his culture disappear, along with the ancestral ties that unite the four islands of the archipelago. So he has made a radical choice: to settle permanently in the Comoros. But before leaving, he must reconnect with his mother’s family and find his father’s, whom he does not know.
